How to Engage with Ethical Fashion

This TED talk is interesting in the sense that a traditional fashion designer got to investigate deeper in what constitutes the industry, including its sub-cultures and supply chain. This is interesting for two reasons: fleshing out the environmental and ethical problem with fast fashion BUT it is easy to relate this situation to other creative professions such as "architecture" ie. as designers we need to better understand the industry on which we stand such as construction and supply chains. We as architects have the ethical obligation to do this... perhaps the next TED Talk would be: How to Engage with Ethical Architecture / Heritage.
