“From Olivetti to Polivetti. The architectural vision of Polivetti is concentrated on the old Olivetti complex. The huge company which was well-known all around the world left behind a huge factory complex with a lot of facilities for workers and their families. Olivetti company created a small industrial city inside Ivrea which now is mostly unused. The idea of creating a campus inside the complex not only provide a new use for old buildings but also bring back life in these spaces. The vision of the students and professors will encourage the working and researching process and also make the area more attractive to the citizens of Ivrea. Selected electronic and computer waste (e-waste) type. The fact that Olivetti is a printer and small electronic, devices company, makes logical the choice of the r4, type of E-Waste to be handled in the project. Polivetti + erion: The collaboration between Polivetti and Erion would be effective in the design, production, collection, transport and treatment phases of the circular economy system. Polivetti would offer its facilities for training and the treatment center, while Erion would contribute with transport infrastructure and agreements with companies for internships for students."
