"Re-Plastic for Fashion. The Re-PLA company is a new reality within the wide world of
plastic recycling. The aim can be summed up with the expression “from line to
circle”: in other words, converting the process of plastic into a circular process.
The project is linked to the reuse of plastic both from our seas and from urban
waste in the city of Turin, where the company’s main structure is located. The
Palazzo del Lavoro, which in turn sees a sort of “reuse” in its history,
becomes the headquarters of plastic recycling, from the point of view of
research, production and marketing of the new product. In fact, the structure
involves companies involved in research on plastic polymer, studying the
possibilities of disposal, recycling, and innovation, favouring its use in the
fashion sector, the latter being a very important field for the history of the
city of Turin and for Made in Italy legend."
